I’m going to pull back the curtain on a recent drum recording session of mine.
Nathan Kabeya was in the studio with me this weekend to lay down some covers for his channel. I had a couple of assistants in there with me too, learning the ropes for microphone setup and drum recording.
Nathan was aiming for four tracks recorded, mixed and mastered in just four hours… and we managed it! I’ve put together a time-lapse of the drum kit and microphone set up for you to enjoy –
