Do you want to learn to master music? In this video, in just fifteen minutes you’ll learn how to turn your mix into a loud, punchy master that’s ready for release.

If you’re already comfortable with your mixing abilities and you now want to learn how to master your music to get it ready for release, this is for you.

When you first start learning to master, it can be overwhelming. Maybe you’re desperate to get your music out there and you just want it to sound great next to other commercial records. And it can be frustrating, especially if you’re happy with your mix but you’re struggling to get it to a competitive level without ruining the dynamics.

But not to worry, we’re going to take things step-by-step, I’ll explain everything as we go along. And by the end of this video, you’ll have enough knowledge to start getting your first masters finished.

The video is split into three parts. In Part 1, I’m going to explain exactly what the purpose of mastering is, what the aim is and the difference between mixing and mastering.

In Part 2, I’ll show you exactly how to master, you’ll be able to watch and listen as I master a track and show you what plugins and techniques you’ll need to use.

And in Part 3, you’ll find out how to know when your master is finished and where to go from there.

Mastering is an art, and it can take years to get really good at it. The video is designed for beginners who are just getting into mastering and want enough knowledge to get their song mastered and released.
