Audacity is a free and simple to use digital audio workstation. It’s great for those of you getting started with audio. But is Audacity any good for professional use?
Audacity was the first digital audio workstation that I ever used, probably about 15 years ago now. But I still use it for basic recording tasks, checking files before sending them to clients and more, even now that I have access to Pro Tools, Cubase, Reaper and so on.
