I’ve split this series up into 6 videos – one for each of the 6 steps of my mixing process. This is the process that I use to get great results fast. I’ll guide you through the process from scratch, you’ll see which plugins and techniques I use and I’ll explain my decisions along the way. I’m mixing on Pro Tools but what you’ll learn applies to any DAW.
Part 1 is all about setting up and preparing the tracks before we start adding any plugins. We don’t want anything getting in the way of the creative process during the mix so it’s really important to set the mix up right from the start and I’m going to show you how to do that.
