In the micromixing part, we’ll be diving into each individual instrument and doing a basic mix. The is the longest part of the mixing process. We’ll mainly be focusing on EQ and compression. I’ll show you how to fix any initial ‘problems’ with the mix by removing unwanted frequencies. You’ll find out how to use compression to smooth things out and everything will be given it’s own space in the mix. The individual busses for sections of instruments will also be processed. Once you’ve learnt how to do a basic mix, you’ll be about 80% there!
